Cleveland Police Need Help Locating the car Used in Gina DeJesus Carjacking

Cleveland, OH - The Cleveland Division of Police is seeking the public's help to locate a vehicle used in an armed robbery of Gina DeJesus' car on Thursday May 13, 2021 at 140am in the area of West 127th Street and Triskett Avenue. 

A self-professed night owl, DeJesus says she stopped her car for only a moment when two men blocked her path, hopped out of a vehicle and approached the driver's side of her car. One of the suspects pulled out a gun, pointed it at her and demanded her vehicle. DeJesus complied. Her purse, wallet and credit cards were taken along with her car. Police believe the carjacking was random.

The involved vehicle is believed to be a silver 2015 Toyota Camry. Anyone with information regarding the vehicle or suspects involved is asked to contact The First District Detective Unit at 216-623-5118. Anonymous information can be provided via Crimestoppers at 216-25-CRIME.
