(North Perry) - On Wednesday night, there was what's called a "law enforcement situation" at the Perry Nuclear Power Plant in Lake County,.
According to a tweet, and a news release issued by the FBI, they said they wee assisting the Lake County Sheriff's Office, North Perry Police, and the Lake County Bomb Squad in an "ongoing law enforcement situation" at the Perry Plant.
Later in the evening, Falls Communications, which handles media statement for Energy Harbor, operator of the plant, gave a statement to our news partners at 3 News, saying "at approximately 6 p,m. Wednesday evening, two individuals mistakenly drove onto the property of the Perry Nuclear Power Plant. Plant security notified local authorities. It was determined the individuals posed no credible threat to the plant or public safety."
