US Marshals of Northern Ohio Take Down Parma Shooting Suspect

Cleveland, OH - On Thursday, April 1, 2021, at approximately 6:20 PM Parma Police Officers responded to a home on Westlake Ave. in Parma for a male that had just been shot. The victim, 63-year-old John Fabrizi, was shot multiple times in the legs by a known offender who fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival. 

Arriving officers rendered first aid to the victim as did the male that called 911. Parma Fire Department personnel arrived on scene, stabilized the victim, and transported him to a local hospital where he underwent surgery. 

The offender, 47-year-old Troy Neal Sharp, was arrested by the US Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at approximately 10:30 PM on Runn St. in Berea. Sharp has been charged with Felonious Assault and is being held on a $1,000,000 bond in the Parma Jail. 

Sharp is scheduled to appear in the Parma Municipal Court on Monday, April 5, 2021, at 11:00 AM in front of Judge Timothy Gilligan.
