State Rep Wants A Ban On "Vaccination Passports"

(Columbus) - A state representative from Northeast Ohio is doing what he can to prevent any requirements in Ohio that you have to prove you've been vaccinated before you can go back to a normal life.

Rep. Al Cutrona (R-Canfield) is proposing a bill that would ban any requirement that people in Ohio have to show proof of vaccination before they can go into "an area or establishment." Cutrona says that while Ohioans are being encouraged to take the vaccine for the health and well being of themselves and others, vaccine should not be mandated or required for people to a normal life.

New York state has already announced creation of what it calls an "Excelsior Pass," which will be a smartphone app which you can open to prove you've been vaccinated. On the other hand, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis says he plans to issue an executive order forbidding local governments and businesses from requiring proof of vaccination.
