(Cleveland) - Cuyahoga County is looking for inpute on where to build a new county jail, or to renovate the current one.
The current jail is overcrowded, and has numerous other proglems. The jail takes up two of the buildings in the Justice Center complex, along with the Courts Tower, which houses Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas, the county prosecutor's office, and Cleveland Municipal Court. Another building is the Cleveland Police headquarters, which is planned to be replaced with a new building on the under construction Opportunity Corridor on Cleveland's east side.
The county Department of Public Works is asking that people go to this link, watch the video, and take a survey.
