UH Doing Study On Potential Treatment For COVID-19

(Cleveland) - University Hospitals is looking for people to take part in a study of a new oral medication that could serve as a treatment for COVID-19.

Doctors say now, if someone contracts the virus, they just watch themselves get sick, and hope for the best. They hope that a pill called Upamostat, taken daily for two weeks, will keep the virus from replicating in the body.

Researchers are looking for people to take part in the study who were recently diagnosed with COVID, or were exposed to the virus, and are showing symptoms.
