Two Cleveland Police Officers Charged With Misconduct

(Cleveland) - Two city police officers have been disciplined for issues related to their work.

Detective Daniel Hourihan received a written reprimand, and has been ordered to undergo training on search and seizure techniques. In June of 2019, Hourihan, during a traffic stop, did a search. After finding nothing criminal, he did a second search without permission, and without legal justification.

Officer Hayley McNatt was suspended for 15 days without pay, after she avoided work shifts in May 2020, when protests were happening in Cleveland after the police death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
