Cleveland, OH - Discount Drug Mart, Inc. an employee-owned pharmacy chain has been tapped by the Governor’s Office in coordination with the Ohio Department of Health to administer COVID-19 vaccines as part of Ohio’s K-12 School Staff Vaccination Program. In accordance with the state’s county-specific, week-specific rollout – Medina County, and all school systems within, will receive COVID-19 vaccine first doses Thursday, February 4th.
Discount Drug Mart pharmacists will administer the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine to over 3,500 Medina county staff at this one-day event which takes place at Medina High School and Brunswick High school beginning at 7am. Schools in Medina County are closed on February 4th to accommodate the vaccinations.
Brunswick High School will host staff and educators from: Brunswick, Buckeye, Highland, Medina Christian Academy, Medina County ESC, Saint Ambrose, Saint Francis Xavier
Medina High School will host staff and educators from: Around the Sun Montessori, Black River, Cloverleaf, Medina, MCCC, Northside Christian Academy, Sacred Heart of Jesus, The Nurtury, Wadsworth
