(Cleveland) - There is good news if your Cuyahoga County property tax payment is late due to delays with the U.S. Postal Service. A county spokesperson says the county can waive or refund late fees if your tax payment is late due to issues witht the mail, such as your tax bill not arriving in a timely manner,
State law calls for late fees of up to 10 percent on property taxes.
If you want the late fee waived, you have to submit this application with your payment, asking for the waver.
