(Cleveland) - Cleveland Clinic is celebrating its centennial this year, and the year started out with the Clinic's annual State of the Clinic Address by CEO and President Tom Mihaljevic.
He says the Clinic's new mission statement will be "Caring For Live, Researching For Health, and Educating Those Who Serve."
Mihaljevic says Cleveland Clinic has a goal of doubling the number of patients it sees by 2024. He says this will be done through expansion of the Clinic's facilities around the world, and a bigger use of telehealth.
As for 2020, Mihaljevic said, "Events of 2020 brought out the best of us." He commended the Clinic's employees for how they stepped up to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic, and also how well they worked with each other.
