Vaccine Coming To NE Ohio

(Cleveland) - 3 million doses of Pfizer and Biontech's COVID-19 vaccine are being shipped out to hospitals across the country, and many of them are being set to Northeast Ohio.

Cleveland Clinic, MetroHealth, the VA Medical Center, and Stark County's Aultman Hospital are all set to receive the first doses, which will go to front-line health care workers. In all, 10 hospitals across Ohio will receive some of the first shipments of vaccine. University Hospitals will get part of a second shipment.

Next to receive the vaccine are those in congregate care facilities, such as nursing homes.

The shipments across the country are being handled by UPS and FedEx.
