MetroHealth Temporarily Closing Some Facilities, Moving Staff

(Cleveland) - Because of the need to re-allocate staff during the pandemic, MetroHealth System is closing some of its facilities at least through year's end.

MetroHealth is temporarily closing its facilities on Memphis Avenue, and those in Brunswick, Lyndhurst, Medina, Rocky River, and North Royalton, along with Main Campus Behavioral Health Services. Staff from all these facilities will be reassigned where needed.

MetroHealth spokesperson Mike Tobin told cleveland.com that about 100 employees were out sick last week. The temporary closings are in anticipation of an expected increase in COVID-19 cases.
