Cuyahoga County About To Approve Help For Homeowners

(Cleveland) -- Assistance could soon be on its way to Cuyahoga County homeowners struggling financially due to the pandemic.

A committee of the Cuyahoga County Council on Monday gave its stamp of approval to a plan to provide $2 million worth of assistance to residents who have fallen behind on their mortgages.

Homeowners with low- to moderate-incomes would be eligible to apply for the loans beginning in January.

The full council must first approve the idea.
