COVID-19 Numbers Down Monday: Vaccine Update For Ohio

(Columbus) -- Health officials are reporting more than 6,600 daily cases of COVID-19 across the state Monday.

The latest update from the Ohio Department of Health showed 6,631 new coronavirus cases, for a decrease of almost 1,100 compared to record numbers seen on Sunday.

There were also 30 new deaths from COVID-19 reported, with another 357 patients admitted to hospitals.

Governor Mike DeWine updated the timeline for when the state should start receiving the new COVID-19 vaccine, saying a shipment from Pfizer will arrive on December 15th and one from Moderna on December 22nd.
