(Cleveland) - Normally, Ohio law requires dog owners to renew dog licenses each year between December 1 and January 31. For the first time ever, the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter is doing early renewal, starting immediately.
Payment options include:
·One Year Licenses (expiring January 31, 2022): $20, or $17 if renewed by November 30 by mail or December 15 online
·Three Year Licenses (expiring January 31, 2024): $60, or $57 if renewed by November 30 by mail or December 15 online
·Permanent Licenses (no expiration date): $200, or $197 if renewed by November 30 by mail or December 15 online
Dog licenses can be registered or renewed online, by mail, or in person at neighborhood locations, including Pet Supplies Plus and Discount Drug Mart. They are also available at the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter.
The licenses help support the Animal Shelter, and are the ticket home for a lost dog, because it's easier to find the dog's owner,.
