(Cleveland) - Restaurant owners in Cleveland are sending a message to Governor Mike DeWine, to not even think about closing them.
Nearly two dozen restaurants across Greater Cleveland have taken to social media with the hashtag #WeCantClose. This, after the governor hinted last week that he may close down restaurants and bars again, as he did at the start of the pandemic in March.
Restaurants who are part of the program include some very well-known ones, like Market Garden Brewery, Brown Derby, Fahrenheit, Mallorca, and Winking Lizard. They all say they are adhering to state and local guidelines, and say if restaurants have to close, it may be for good.
