Hospitals Have A Message About COVID-19

(Cleveland) - All the major hospitals in Northeast Ohio are joining together to beg with us to not let down our guard when it comes to COVID-19.

Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, Summa Health, MetroHealth, the VA Healthcare System, and St. Vincent Charity Medical Center all took out a full-page ad in Sunday's Plain Dealer to say that they have all seen the faces of COVID-19 firsthand, including the sick and dying, along with family members who can't be with loved ones.

The ad said that by doing the things that have been said many times over - social distancing, wearing a mask, washing hands, staying home when sick, getting a flu shot - we can help control the virus.

Meanwhile, the leaders of Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, and MetroHealth, will hold a joint news briefing Monday, to address the growing concern over the increase of COVID-19 cases impacting hospitals, healthcare workers and the community.
