Developer Buys Most Of Geauga Lake & Sea World Site

(Aurora) - There will be new life for the former Geauga Laka amusement park. Solon-based developer Industrial Commercial Properties has bought 377 acres of the amusement park, and neighboring Sea World, with plans to build homes, retail, and restaurants.

Another developer had already bought another 246 acres of the site, and is building homes.

ICP plans to acknowledge the history of the land, with signage about amusement park rides. ICP has told cleveland.com they have already signed up home improvement store Menard's as a tenant.
