Secretary of State Wants To Reassure Ohio Voters

(Columbus) - Wednesday night, the director of National Intelligence announced that Iran and Russia are trying to influence the election, by sending spoofed emails to intimidate voters. Both countries got a hold of voter registration information.

Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose posted a video on Twitter on Wednesday night to reassure Ohioans. LaRose says that Ohio voters were not targeted in efforts by foreigners . He also says that nobody has to "crack" computer information to get your voter registration information, as, in Ohio, that is public record.

LaRose says if you do suspect someone is trying to influence your vote, email the Secretary of State's office. He also says make sure you vote, as anyone trying to influence you from outside doesn't want you to vote.
