Two Wrongly Released From Cuyahoga County Jail

(Cleveland) - Two inmates were mistakenly released over the weekend from the Cuyahoga County Jail, and the county is trying to determine why.

Cleveland.com reports that over the weekend 39-year-old David Barnes of Cleveland, and 21-year-old Bernard Moore of Warrensville Heights were both released mistakenly. Barnes, who was being held on an outstanding warrant, has been captured and is back in the jail. Moore, who is charged with improperly handling a gun in a motor vehicle, was still at large as of Tuesday morning.

County spokeswoman Mary Louise Madigan says the county is investigating. This is reportedly the fifth time in 2020 that the jail has released inmates who weren't supposed to have been released,
