Man Shot Dead At Family Dollar After Holding Up The Line

(Cleveland) - Cleveland Police are looking for the man who shot and killed another shopper at a Family Dollar store, after the victim is said to have held up the checkout line.

It happened Friday evening at Family Dollar on Kinsman Road at East 116th Street. Police say Jerry Saffo of Euclid was shopping at the store. He got into an argument with the checkout clerk. A security guard escorted Saffo out of the store, because the argument held up the checkout line.

A man who had been in the checkout line then came up to Saffo. He began to argue with Saffo, and the two got into a fight. That's when the other man pulled out a gun and shot Saffo, killing him. The man with the gun ran off, and is still on the run.
