(Cleveland) - Senator Kamala Harris, running mate of former Vice President Joe Biden, has canceled her Friday campaign visit to Cleveland, because a campaign insider has tested positive for COVID-19.
The Biden campaign says Harris' communications director tested positive for the virus, and so has a member of Harris's flight crew, who is responsible for transportiaton, but is not a member of the campaign staff.
Both major presidential campaigns are focusing on the battleground state of Ohio. The latest Baldwin Wallace University poll shows that the two races are neck and neck, with President Donald Trump leading by only two percentage points, which is within the poll's margin of error.
Biden was in Ohio on Monday, campaigning in Toledo and Cincinnati. Vice President Mike Pence campaigned for the Trump campaign Monday in Columbus.
