NORTH ROYALTON - A car drove into the Sunoco gas station convenience store at the corner of Wallings Road and State Road in North Royalton on Thursday afternoon.North Royalton Fire Chief Robert Chegan told WTAM News an elderly couple lost control of their vehicle causing the car and the convenience store to go up in flames.
Chief Chegan said eight companies responded to the blaze including mutual aid from Parma, Seven Hills, Broadview Heights and Strongsville.No injuries were reported.The extent of the damage is extensive but the dollar amount is unknown.
The cause of why the couple lost control of their car is under investigation.
