On 9/26/20 at approx. 11:45AM a caller reported a male was down on the ground on Center Ridge in the area of King James Pkwy.Other citizens were already trying to help him.Officers arrived and found that the 23yo Euclid resident was leaning against the signal box and was slurring his speech.As the ambulance was assessing the male, officers discovered he was in possession of suspected marijuana, syringes, suspected narcotic acid and other drug paraphernalia.The male was transported to the hospital for treatment.He was advised to take care of the several warrants that were attached to his name.Westlake charges are pending the results from the crime lab.On the same day at about 5:20PM, a concerned caller reported that a male was walking in the roadway in the area of Schwartz and Crocker Rds.He was recognized from the prior interaction but still tried to hide between residents’ houses when he saw the cruisers in the area.The male was soon taken into custody and transported to the Cuyahoga County Justice Center due to the outstanding felony warrants for probation violations due to a prior dangerous drug charge.

On 9/28/20 at approx. 7AM officers responded to a residence on Fernwood for a reported missing vehicle.Investigation revealed that during the overnight hours someone had actually entered the rear door to the house, which had inadvertently been left unlocked.The perpetrator had taken the car keys from a nearby tabletop and then used the stolen keys to take the whole vehicle.The Mitsubishi Outlander has not been recovered but is entered in police databases as being stolen.

On 10/1/20 at about 9:15PM officers were dispatched to the Extended Stay Hotel on Clemens Rd for a disturbance call.A renter at the hotel complained that a male and a female had been pounding at her door looking for someone.The renter was concerned for her safety.Officers did not find anyone walking around the building but did locate an occupied vehicle in the parking lot.A male from Grafton was inside and it was discovered he was wanted by Lakewood PD for an outstanding Drug paraphernalia warrant.The 38yo was arrested and turned over to Lakewood PD.

On 10/2/20 at approx. 03:45AM officers responded to a report of a bank alarm at the Huntington on Crocker Rd.Bank security reported being able to see a female passed out in her vehicle at the ATM.When officers arrived, they had to wake up the 27yo Westlake resident.Officers noted that there was vomit on the back seat of the vehicle and the driver appeared impaired.She was field tested and arrested for OVI.The vehicle was towed from the scene.The driver refused a breath test.
