Reward Offered in Death of Cleveland Police Officer

CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Division of Police is offering a reward for information that can lead to arrests of the suspect or suspects involved in the murder of an officer from Thursday night. Two people were killed in connection to Thursday's shooting: the 25-year veteran of the police department James Skernivitz and another 50-year-old man. Police say three arrests have been made, but no charges have been filed in relation to the deaths. The Cleveland FBI says reward money of up to 35-thousand-dollars is available for information that leads to successful arrests and prosecutions.

Detectives are asking that anyone with any information contact the FBI tip line at 216-622-6842.
