Wheels Down for Air Force One in Cleveland: The President is Here

(Cleveland, OH) - WTAM 1100 was on among the approx. 200 people allowed at Burke Lakefront Airport to welcome President Trump to Ohio.

Following the announcement that Cleveland will be the first location of the three upcoming 2020 Presidential debates, the President made plans to travel to the Buckeye State to visit the Whirlpool Plant in Clyde, Ohio along with a fundraiser in Bratenahl, Ohio.

With varied times as to when the President made his descension into Cleveland, he landed safely and with a pregnant pause before exiting the aircraft.

Music through speakers kept the small crowd entertained on the runway while waiting for the President to speak such as Elton John's "Candle in the Wind" and Creedence Clearwater's "Fortunate Son".

Once the President got on the mic, he thanked Ohioans and spoke about keeping manufacturing jobs in the U.S. After he told the spectators of Gov. Mike DeWine's Covis-19 diagnosis, he endorsed Republican nominee for Congress Christina Hagan.

The President then headed off to Clyde, Ohio where he was set to visit the Whirlpool plant.
