(Cleveland) - Destination Cleveland, which is the area's tourism bureau, is now trying to convince Clevelanders to be tourists in their own town during the pandemic.
They have launched "Rediscover CLE, " a marketing campaign to encourage residents of Greater Cleveland to responsibly explore the area, and patronize the more than 300 restaurants, attractions, hotels, and other businesses and organizations that have signed up for what's called the Clean Committed program.
Clean Committed was a program asking hospitality and tourism-related businesses to agree to a standard set of cleanliness and safe operating practices.
Now available are a guide for residents, and more passports in the Destination Cleveland app.
