Fugitive of the Week wanted for shooting driver during police chase

(Cleveland, OH) - The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Elliot Swift Jr. Swift Jr. is wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for negligent homicide. It is alleged that on June 9, Swift Jr. was the front seat passenger of a stolen vehicle that was pursued by Cuyahoga Heights Police Department. At some point during the pursuit Swift Jr. shot and killed the driver of the vehicle. The vehicle eventually crashed and Swift Jr. fled from the scene.

Swift Jr., 17, is a described as a black male, standing 5 feet 9 inches and weighing 140 pounds. Swift Jr.’s last known address is near the 11800 block of Forest Ave, Cleveland, Ohio. Swift Jr. is to be considered armed and dangerous.
