Less Service For One Island Ferry, and Masks Now Required

(Put-In-Bay) - There will be limited service this summer on one of the ferry services on Lake Erie.

Jet Express says the only service it will offer this summer is from Port Clinton to Put-In-Bay. They will not offer service to or from Sandusky, Cedar Point, or Kelleys Island.

Jet Express said on their Facebook page that due to high water levels at those locations, they don't have the ability to social distance the passengers waiting to board.

There is still ferry service from Marblehead to Kelleys Island, as well as Miller Ferry from Catawba to South Bass Island.

In addition, both Jet Express and Miller Ferry say that for the time being, all passengers will have to wear face masks.
