Suspect In Akron Mistaken Identity Murder Turns Self In

(Akron) - A second suspect in the murder of 18-year-old Na'Kia Crawford has turned himself in.

Akron Police say 18-year-old Jaion Bivins, accompanied by his lawyer, turned himself in to Akron detectives about 12:15 a.m. Tuesday.

Bivins is one of three suspects in the shooting death of Crawford, who police say was a victim of mistaken identity when she was shot while stopping at a red light on Sunday, June 14. Bivins is facing charges of obstruction of justice, and tampering with evidence. A 24-year-old woman's been arrested on similar charges.

The third suspect in Crawford's murder, 17-year-old Adarus Black, is still at large. He's the suspected gunman, and is facing charges of murder.
