(Rocky River) - The owner of a popular restaurant in Rocky River is out of the hospital, after contracting coronavirus.
Joe Kanaan was admitted to Cleveland Clinic around the middle of March. The restaurant, at the corner of Wooster Road and Hilliard Blvd., was closed as a precaution.
In a Facebook post, Kanaan's family says "We deeply appreciate the outpouring of love and support shown to our family during this challenging time. It was your thoughts and prayers that carried us, and we areso grateful. We feel so blessed to be part of such a caring community. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you."
On Facebook, Kanaan said, “Thank God I’m here. Thank God I’m OK. Thank you to the doctors, nurses, and everyone who helped save my life.”
