Liquor Store Homicide Suspect Arrested on Cleveland's East Side

Cleveland - The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force has arrested murder suspect, 23-year-old Dorian Lynch.

On March 20th, 2020 Cleveland Police responded to a liquor store in the 4000 block of Lee Road for reports of a man who had been shot.

Lynch and a 17-year-old male got into a verbal altercation with the victim, 24-year-old Kevin Boyd, inside the store.The argument turned physical outside the store and at some point the victim was shot several times.The juvenile suspect was arrested a few days after the shooting.

Investigators with the NOVFTF were able to track Lynch to an apartment complex in the city’s Hough neighborhood early Tuesday morning where he was arrested without any incident.

U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott stated, “Senseless violence on our city streets will not be tolerated by law enforcement officers or by members of the community.We will continue to work diligently with our local partners and our community to ensure safe neighborhoods for the Cleveland community.”
