Rocky River Police Blotter: Fast Food Meltdown

On 02/10/2020 at about 4:10 PM police were called to Taco Bell 21805 Center Ridge Rd. after an unhappy customer threw food behind the counter and was telling other customers to leave, even after being refunded and a new meal prepared. The customer, a 35-year-old North Olmsted woman, was given a trespass warning by police and left without further incident.

 

On 02/15/2020 at about 4:30 AM police responded to Chase Bank 21810 Center Ridge Rd. after a report by their security company of the attempted theft of the exterior ATM there. The suspects, both wearing ski masks, were last seen fleeing from the machine. The theft of the ATM was unsuccessful. A vehicle involved, a 2005 Ford F-250, was recovered nearby and had been stolen from North Ridgeville. Detectives and bank security are investigating. 

On 02/15/2020 at about 1:30 PM police responded to 20550 Detroit Rd. after the resident there reported a package stolen from his apartment vestibule on 02/12/2020. He said that the box was left on that day by the USPS but gone when he went to get it. The value of the merchandise was about $49.00.
