Lorain - The Lorain County Sheriff's Office reporting they've lost one of their own.
Former canine "Qzzy" reportedly passed away January 29th after a long battle with an auto immune illness.
Ozzy was a certified dual purpose patrol K-9 who served the office and his partner, Sergeant Bryan Barnes, from April of 2008 until his retirement in December of 2012.
The sheriff's office calling the pooch an amazing partner, friend, protector and family member.
Ozzy would have been 13 years old this coming April.
