Parma Heights Police Chase Leads to One Arrest

Parma Heights - What began as a routine traffic stop near the Parma Heights, Parma border Wednesday led to a high speed chase with multiple injuries.

Officers say the pursuit began a little after 11 a.m. when they tried to pull over a man driving an older model white Buick near the area of Stumph and Huffman roads. The driver however did not stop, speeding up and crashing into three cars near the Chevrolet Plant off Chevrolet Boulevard and Deborah Drive.

He then took off on foot, with two parole officers who happened to be in the area able to help arrest him in the 5400 block of Chevrolet Boulevard.

Parma officers would assist and investigate the crash scene. Two victims involved in the collision and the suspect were treated for minor injuries and released.
