Man Wanted By Lorain Police For Domestic Shooting Caught

Lorain - Lorain Police have caught a man they says shot his ex-girlfriend.

51-year-old Curtis Haller was wanted in connection with a shooting incident that took place at 5:30 p.m. Sunday December 15th, 2019. Haller had been in a 20 year relationship with his victim. The couple had split up recently and there was a TPO in effect against Haller.  

Officers responded to the 200 block of W. 39th Street for a woman whom had been shot. The arrived to find the 55 year old female victim who has suffered gunshot wound. The victim identified Haller as the shooter. Officers initially believed that Haller was still in the garage where the shooting had occurred. The SWAT team was summoned to the scene and, after searching the garage and home, found that Haller was not in the area.

Haller is set to face a judge Monday. He is being held in the Lorain County Jail..
