Cleveland - Director of Public Safety, Michael McGrath and Cleveland Police Chief Calvin D. Williams announce that Patrol Officer Stevie Green, Jr. was arrested on Friday, October 11, 2019 by the Lakewood Police Department on a felony charge of Domestic Violence.
Following arrest, Green Jr. was relieved from duty and will remain suspended without pay pending the adjudication of the criminal charges. Green, Jr. was hired by the City of Cleveland, Division of Police in November of 2018. His most recent assignment was to the Third District, Basic Patrol Section.
