On 9/1/19 at about 3AM an Uber driver called WPD to report unruly passengers in her vehicle.According to the caller, when the 4 passengers found out that she was calling the police due to their argumentative nature and the fact that they asked to “do drugs” in her vehicle, 2 of the males grabbed her from behind and tried to turn the wheel of the moving vehicle. When the victim pulled off the road to await officers, one of the males ran away.Officers located and interviewed the remaining 3.They all appeared to be highly intoxicated but denied attacking the driver. After gathering all the statements and tracking down the interloping passenger, 3 were arrested.A 20yo from Elyria was charged with underage consumption.A 21yo from Olmsted Falls was charged with assault and disorderly conduct.A 20yo from Westlake was charged with underage consumption and assault.
