The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Malik Rembert.
Rembert is wanted by the Elyria Police Department for Burglary and Improperly Discharging a Firearm into a Habitation and the Lorain Police Department for Aggravated Vehicular Assault, Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Failure to Comply. It is alleged that on August 23, a traffic stop was attempted on Rembert in which he fled police.During the course of his flight, Rembert struck a bicyclist riding in the roadway and then proceeded to flee and elude arrest.
Rembert, 22, is a black male, standing approximately 6 foot and weighing 300 pounds. Rembert was last known to reside on the west side of Lorain. Rembert is to be considered armed and dangerous.
