Runners Take To The Streets To Brighten Up Cleveland

For the sixth year in a row, Major League Baseball and The Color Run are teamed up for MLB All-Star Week.

This year’s edition kicked off downtown Sunday morning. The uniquely Cleveland course began in Voinovich Bicentennial Park, and went though the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, took the participants along the hub of All-Star Week fan activity, Playball Park, and finished up at Public Square after a lap though Progressive Field. While taking in views of downtown and the North Shore, runners were doused with a different color powder every kilometer of the 5K race.

WTAM is your home for All-Star event coverage. Nick Camino broadcasts live from Playball Park at Mall B Sunday at 11 before the Indians-Reds game. Hear both the Home Run Derby and the All-Star game on WTAM, an official sponsor of All-Star week.
