Rocky River Police Blotter: Angry texts, DUI and Working Thieves

Rocky River -

  • On 06/30/2019 at about 2:24 PM an 18-year-old Rocky River woman reported that a former co-worker has been harassing her by sending threatening text messages. The complainant believes that the other woman suspects her of causing her termination. The messages have stopped after police warnings of telecommunication laws. 

  • On 07/01/2019 at about 1:30 AM police stopped a black Mazda for marked lanes violations. The officer noticed indicators that the driver had been drinking and, aftera series of field sobriety tests, arrested 25-year-old James Marquis Anderson for drunk driving. 

  • On 07/01/2019 at about 3:45 PM a woman reported several items were stolen from her brother's Devon Hill Rd. home sometime in early May 2019. A list of stolen items is not readily available. The complainant suspects workers in the house.
