Ed Sheeran & Khalid Unveil Uplifting 'Beautiful People' Music Video

Ed Sheeran and Khalid join forces for their brand-new single "Beautiful People."

On Friday (June 28), Sheeran unveiled the true-to-self track and visual for his latest team-up off his upcoming extended play, No.6 Collaborations Project. The music video opens to an unsuspecting couple, set to board a plane elsewhere, being whisked away on a private jet to a lavish resort abound with conveniently attractive people. However, the pair, just as the song's lyrics opine, feel out of place in this beautiful setting.

"We don't fit in well 'cause we are just ourselves," sings of his fear of becoming another "beautiful" person — or rather like those forced to meet the status quo of what's socially and aesthetically acceptable. "That's not who we are/We are not beautiful" belts in the chorus, as the Georgia-born musician echoes similar sentiments in his verse.

The 15-track album comes packed with a bevy of collabs — see the full list here — including previously-released records like the Chance the Rapper and PnB Rock-assisted song "Cross Me" and Sheeran's Justin Bieber team-up, "I Don't Care."

The 28-year-old crooner's feature-heavy project follows his earlier EP, No. 5 Collaborations Project, which delivered in January 2011. Sheeran's latest full-length album, Divide, arrived in 2017.
