(CLEVELAND) Twenty thousand music fans will decent on the Butler Campus of Laurel School in Novelty, Ohio for the 4th Annual LaureLive music festival this weekend, June 8th and 9th.
Greater Cleveland's only multi-day pop music festival, however, has outgrown its Geauga County venue with this year's headliners Sheryl Crow and Hozier and looks for a new site.
"It will make for our biggest festival yet which necessitates our move," says Denny Young, festival co-founder and president of The Elevation Group. "This is going to be a great sendoff for the Laurel School Butler Campus."
Hozier, a singer and songwriter from Ireland whose debut studio album includes the multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated “Take Me To Church," will headline Saturday, June 8th.
Nine-time Grammy Award winner Sheryl Crow will close the festival, Sunday, June 9th. Her ten studio albums have sold 50 million copies worldwide; seven of them charted in the Top-10 and five were certified for multi-platinum sales.
Fabio Salerno's Lago will provide concessions for the educational event. Laurel School students will have active roles in the production and staging of all the LaureLive music festival, and while in the classroom, they have learned about all aspects associated with event production, marketing, public relations, sponsorships, talent relations, artist booking, contracts, legal and more.
Laurel School, an all-girls (K-12) independent school in Shaker Heights, hosts the event at its 150-acre Butler Campus located at 7420 Fairmount Road in Russell and Chester Townships. There's parking at surrounding facilities and shuttle service available to the event.
