No one can deny that the current events in Washington DC are closer to an episode of "The Young and the Restless" than anything that should be aired on CSPAN.

In this week's episode, Attorney General William Barr took the stand and was grilled by the Senate Judiciary Committee. Minority Members, including several Democratic Presidential hopefuls, took turns questioning Barr about every aspect of his involvement with the Mueller Report. As expected, yesterday's proceedings weren't exactly peaceful.

Numerous members of the Committee, including Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI), used their time to attack the Attorney General, with even some calls for resignation.

Despite their best efforts, Senate Dems could not take down Barr. The Attorney General took haymaker after haymaker from the likes of Kamala Harris, Dianne Feinstein, and Cory Booker and survived. However, what was lost in this absurd exercise was the real reason why the Mueller Report was ordered to begin with.
