(Lorain County) - On Wednesday, April 3, 2019 the Lorain Police Department was dispatched to 114 W. 26th St. in regards to two males who had apparently died from an opioid overdose.
Arriving officers noted that the house was littered with hundreds if not thousands of hypodermic needles and say conditions inside the home were deplorable. Investigators report the site is an abandoned house that drug users broke into to conduct illegal activity.
The Lorain Police Department encourages residents to report activity in abandon buildings, and to prevent children from playing in and around these structures. Detectives are said to be working with the city to tear down as many abandoned, dilapidated buildings as possible.
