U.S.S. Cod Will Stay Docked In Cleveland

(Cleveland) - A piece of World War II history will remain in Cleveland for all to see.

Cleveland City Council on Monday approved a deal thad allows the WWII submarine, the U.S.S. Cod, to continue to be docked along North Marginal Road, east of East 9th Street, for two more years. The city has also given the Cod an additional option for three more years.

Council says the lease insures the Cod will have a home on Lake Erie.

The Cod will be open for daily public tours, starting April 27th.
