February 21, 2019 Disturbance Chipotle Restaurant 1516 hrs.
Officers responded to the Chipotle at 21029 Center Ridge Road on the report of an employee creating a disturbance inside. We officers arrived they found the employee who is a 32 year old male from North Olmsted had traffic warrants for arrest with the Fairview Park Police Department. He was taken into custody on the warrants and transported to the Police Station where he posted bond and was released
February 21, 2019 - Domestic Violence North Sagamore Road 2234 hrs.
Fairview Park Police and Fire Personnel responded to a North Sagamore Road home on the report of a domestic disturbance. When officers arrive they found a 36 year old female with facial injuries that required immediate medical attention. Through investigation it was learned the victim’s injuries were at the hands of her 38 year old husband. The female was ultimately was taken to the hospital for treatment while the husband was arrested on felonious assault and domestic violence charges.
February 23, 2019 - O.V.I. Lorain Road 0313 hrs.
An officer stopped a black Ford for speeding and lane violations on Lorain Road near W. 226 St. At the stop the officers found a 42 year old Berea resident behind the wheel. The male exhibited evidence alcohol impairment with open beer containers inside the vehicle. He was administered standardized field sobriety test which also indicated the driver was under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested for Operating a Vehilce Under the Innfluence of Alcohol and assigned a Rocky River Municipal Court date prior to being released on bond.
February 24, 2019 - Weather Related Issues City Wide
Like many communities the City of Fairview Park had numerous weather related power outages, down trees and downed wires. Several buildings and vehicles were damaged. Thankfully no injuries have been reported as of this writing.
