On February 22, 2019, at 11:37pm, Bay Village Police found a vehicle stopped in the westbound lane of Wolf Road and Clague Road. Officers approached the operator, a 30 year old Sandusky male, who appeared to be under the influence. The operator failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest. On station, the male submitted to an Intoxilyzer test which showed a .117% blood alcohol content. He is facing multiple charges at Rocky River Municipal Court.

On February 23, 2019, at 1:13am, Bay Village Police stopped a vehicle in the area of Wolf Road and Oakmoor Road for a moving traffic violation. Officers approached the operator, a 29 year old Bay Village male, who appeared to be under the influence. The operator failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest. On station, the male submitted to an Intoxilyzer test which showed a .074 blood alcohol content. In addition, the male was also found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He is facing multiple charges at Rocky River Municipal Court.

On February 23, 2019, at 1:21am, Bay Village Police stopped a vehicle in the area of Columbia Road and Osborn Road for a moving traffic violation. Officers approached the operator, a 40 year old Bay Village male, who appeared to be under the influence. The operator failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest. On station, the male submitted to an Intoxilyzer test which showed a .152% blood alcohol content. He is facing multiple charges at Rocky River Municipal Court.

On February 23, at 11:21pm, the Bay Village Police received a call from the Bay Village Speedway reporting a dark SUV with a flat tire in the lot at around the store’s closing time. Bay officers arrived on scene to assist and found the suspect vehicle and another vehicle with them. Police learned that the vehicle’s tire was now fixed, however, officers noticed the overwhelming odor of marijuana was coming from the area of the vehicles. A probable cause search was conducted. Officers found marijuana, drug paraphernalia and an open container of alcohol inside the vehicles. The individuals are facing multiple charges in Rocky River Municipal Court.
