D'Angelo Russell Steals the Show in 3OT Classic, Nets Defeat Cavs 148-139

CLEVELAND-Cavs and Nets played this game like they wasn't playing again for a week. Three overtimes and the Brooklyn Nets, led by D'Angelo Russell's 14 points in the third overtime, defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 148-139.

Cavs Head Coach Larry Drew made a point to recognize the Cavs opportunities to win the game, including the end of the second overtime when Jordan Clarkson made a jumper with less than a minute to go to go up 128-125. DeMarre Carroll made the buzzer beater to tie the game at the end of the second overtime.

Jordan Clarkson ended with a career-high 42 points inside a career-high 47 minutes of play. Collin Sexton added with 24 points and Marquese Chriss had 23 points (20 of those points in 4th quarter and overtime).

Both teams will play again on Thursday February 21st after the NBA All-Star Break. Cavs will host the Phoenix Suns and the Nets will host Portland.
