CLE Battalion Chief Arrested Three Times in Two Days

(Cleveland) - For the second time in a day, and the third time in two days, a Battalion Chief with the Cleveland Fire Department has been arrested at Hopkins International Airport.

Chief William Graham was stopped by airport security Monday afternoon, when he tried to board a flight while drunk and disorderly. Tuesday morning, he reportedly did the same thing at Hopkins, and told police when they arrived that he was ill. Having already been charged yesterday, Graham was taken to a hospital where was eventually released. He then must have gone immediately back to Hopkins, as he got himself arrested for a third time there in the early afternoon on Tuesday. Graham was again taken to a hospital and admitted. The Mayor's office would supply no further details at this writing.

Graham is a 30-year-veteran of the Cleveland Fire Department. He was placed on restrictive duty by the department Monday after his initial arrest. He reportedly has been arrested for OVI in the past, but his case was dismissed.
